From the Archives: Devin & Bryan’s Ravello dream

Today we’re taking you to Ravello on the Amalfi Coast for what was one dreamy wedding. And Devin & Bryan’s wedding was as perfect as it looked.

Devin, Bryan and their 40 guests made their way over from the US a few days ahead of the wedding and enjoyed a series of dinners and celebrations, culminating in their wedding day at Villa Eva.

If you’ve not been to Ravello, imagine a small town, high up on a hill, no cars allowed. At it’s centre, a big open square full of bars and cafes, overlooked by the impressive Duomo.  You leave the square and snake your way up winding, walled and cobbled pathways up and up till you get to the gates of Villa Eva. The white, art deco villa boasts space, style and some of the best views of the coast line. It’s an amazing place to host a wedding.

Like most Amalfi weddings, the set up at the villa has a set start and end time, menu choices and music restrictions. Devin chose to get ready at the villa (great choice, look at those pics!) and made her entrance to the ceremony alongside incredible views of the coast line.

The villa is rented for the day only but there is ample space to get ready ahead of the ceremony, or for a change of outfit later in the day.

After an intimate symbolic ceremony led by Bryan’s brother, the couple were whisked off the Villa Cimbrone for some pics with their talented photographer Erika.

When they returned, it was time for a quick aperitif and as the sun set, they sat down for dinner to enjoy their 5 course meal.

The table setting was light, bright and romantic.

The following day, we arranged a boat trip along the coast – an absolute must if you’re in the area.

Devin & Bryan said, “Danielle and Lucy went above and beyond for our wedding day. They handled everything with ease and made the process so smooth. We truly couldn’t have done any of it without them. They made our dream wedding a reality and we are forever grateful.”

We’re thrilled to be arranging Devin’s cousins wedding and we will see Devin & Bryan again this year!
