From the archives: Lauren & Jamie’s Wedding in Tuscany

Let’s go back to September 2019, when Lauren, Jamie and about 100 of their friends and family hung out in Tuscany for 3 nights at Villa il Pozzo.

‘Words can’t really express just how grateful we are for the love and energy you poured in to our celebrations. We will cherish forever being about to give our full focus to soaking up the magic of our special day.’

Lauren & Jamie live in the UK and started planning their wedding in 2018. I remember my first call with Jamie and thinking, that’s a man whose wedding I want to plan! We connected instantly and a week later, I was sending Lauren & Jamie their wedding agreement. The couple work long hours and despite working in events knew that this was not the sort of event they wanted to tackle without expert help and someone on the ground in Italy.

Fast forward 18 months and many meet ups in my local pub later, it was time for Lauren & Jamie to get married.

They chose the incredible Villa il Pozzo for their wedding for its size, number of beds and it’s unbeatable views of the Tuscan countryside. They loved that the location was near to  a train station, making it easy for guests to travel to and that it produced it’s own wine!

From the stunning weather through to the most perfect speeches, their wedding had it all and it seemed that everything was on their side that day. Apart from Jamie perhaps, whose brother exposed his amazing singing talents during the speeches and got Jamie up to perform for the crowd!

The wedding ceremony which was so perfectly personal, taken by their close friend and Danielle recalls being in tears as Lauren walked down the aisle towards Jamie with his beaming smile.

There were lovely moments like where Lauren spotted the floral curtain (photo opp backdrop) that her mum had secretly asked us to prepare for the wedding day. When guests signed the wine bottles that were the couples guest book. And when the Dixie band appeared after the ceremony to walk everyone to the aperitif and immediately bought the party mood!

This was a wedding that none of the guests nor the staff will ever forget.
