Oli & Becky’s Tuscan Wedding

Photos by Sasa Adamovic

Going back to work after 20 months without weddings was always going to be pretty special but oh my goodness, Oli & Becky’s wedding was like something out of a dream. Their 8 person celebration, near Certaldo was stunning.

In the days leading up to the wedding there was still anticipation as truly none of us had experienced a wedding under covid rules before. When chatting to Oli & Becky we all realised that the most precious thing about rescheduling your wedding, changing plans entirely and going through the covid rollercoaster was that everything beyond actually getting married on that day was a bonus. It made everything sweeter that nothing was guaranteed.

When we arrive at the Villa on the morning of the wedding there was just a pure calmness – led by Becky who was just starting to have her H&MU done. Watching her enjoy this moment, and all that it took to get there was really special. And as the morning went on and various things were set up, suppliers did their thing and this beautiful mircro-wedding came to life.

Oli & Becky had a civil wedding ceremony in Certaldo. There was something eerily calm about Becky’s approach to the ceremony. The lack of tourists made this quite literally all about them. As she serenely glided up the stairs and towards the ceremony, the wind swept her veil and it really was a moment, one I feel so lucky to have witnessed alone as I prepped Becky and her uncle to enter the ceremony.

Becky entered the ceremony to I Giorni by Einaudi, played live acoustically. It was perfect. The wind played its role again and dramatically changed Becky’s silhouette as she entered the courtyard.

Once officially married (wahoo!!!) Oli, Becky and their guests had an aperitif and headed back to the villa for more drinks and antipasti, while serenaded by the most beautiful acoustic music.

We set up the most magical dinner set up on a terrace ‘on top of Tuscany’. We designed a wedding table full of bright colours – of joy and radiance to celebrate this day and suit Oli & Becky’s personalities. Becky couldn’t stop taking photos!

And as the sun set on their incredible day, they ate, they drank and then they partied. The warmth and joy you see in Sasa’s incredible photos really captures the atmosphere of this special day.

It was such a joy to watch Oli, Becky and their guests enjoy each part of the day that they’d all fought so hard for. Watching the amazing team of suppliers come together and give over and above, after such a long and hard period of work was heart-warming. This day will forever be the ‘first wedding’ for us and hold special memories. Congratulations Oli & Becky and thank you for trusting us to create this day for you.
