Wedding at Villa di Maiano, Florence, May 2015

At the end of May, Danielle and I had the pleasure of bringing to life an absolutely incredible wedding in Florence. For this wedding we planned every little detail with the Bride and Groom. From booking guest hotels, arranging transport to the wedding, a drinks reception the night before the wedding and everything for the main event - we loved it all.

The bride and groom would like us to keep aspects of their wedding private so we'll be sharing a few photos of the ceremony, the venues and the food.We held a Persian wedding ceremony and reception inside Villa di Maiano; a wonderful 15th century villa overlooking Florence. It's a magical building with traditional decor, original paintings that stand at 10 feet tall and a spectacular chandeliers.

The catering for the event was out of the world. A 7 starter meal was served to the guests in the grand room and for the final course (my favourite) we served pastries and a huge traditional Italian wedding cake. It did not disappoint and the cake was gone in minutes!

We worked with an incredible local florist who made the most wonderful decorations for the ceremony, the whole villa and of course the wedding breakfast. The flowers really suited the season with peonies and roses to suit the brides chosen colour scheme. It was such a pleasure to see the guests in awe of this stunning Italian wedding and most importantly, the bride and groom enjoying the day they'd dreamt of for so long.
