Choosing your wedding venue is a huge decision that affects much more than you might initially think. Budget, guests experience, the exact locations you’ll celebrate each part of your day, the images you’ll treasure forever and…logistics, supplier experience and costs.
So to make sure you get it right, I’m sharing the 3 month important things to find out about your prospective Italian wedding venue.
The rules
It’s not often expected but totally normally for venues to have a list of rules / regulations for hosting weddings. And if they don’t, they probably don’t have much wedding experience which can be a red flag.
Rules can include everything from music time limits, to guests allowed on site, supplier refusal and more.

2. The accommodation
Most venues have two numbers when it comes to accommodation, those on real beds and those on ‘extra’ beds like sofas or pull outs. It’s important to get both numbers and the room configuration so you can map who might be where before booking. This helps you to budget accurately for any guests reimbursement and ensures your budget can accommodate the venue.
Finally - is the accommodation actually comfy? Try the beds! Is it the right quality for the price you’ll charge guests?

3. The flow
This is the spaces that you have and the way you move through your wedding day. Without connectivity and flow, your day and those important energies that you create amongst guests can be disjointed and lost, which affects your entire day.
Alongside this is the wet weather option. If this isn’t right the flow, the guests experience and the vibe of your day gets lost.
