The Story of Meg & Olly’s Wedding
Some weddings are celebrated.
Megan and Olly’s was felt.
Planned over two years and brought to life with soul and style, this three-day celebration on the Sicilian coast was a delight of intentional design, deep connection, and unforgettable moments.
Set at the iconic La Tonnara di Scopello, this wedding was a seamless blend of flowing movement, minimalist beauty, and emotional storytelling—every detail carefully crafted with our clients and captured by Benjamin Wheeler.
A Sicilian Welcome in Scopello Village
The festivities opened in the heart of Scopello’s historic centro, where cobbled streets and golden-hour light created the dreamiest setting for an intimate welcome. Guests were greeted with rustic Sicilian fare, local wines, and abstract Cala lily displays in local ceramics, the styling intentionally understated to let the village’s atmosphere shine.
As the sun dipped, heartfelt speeches by Megan and her maid of honour, Ellie, set the tone for the weekend ahead—authentic, emotional, and deeply personal.
The Wedding Ceremony – Flowing with Nature
The ceremony at La Tonnara was nothing short of cinematic. With the sea as their witness, Megan and Olly said “I do” surrounded by stunning florals that mirrored the flow of water—leaves and foliage cascading like a stream, blending effortlessly into the landscape. Soft fabrics draped over the natural benches danced in the sea breeze, bringing movement and grace to every frame. Shell-shaped reserved signs added a tactile, glamorous touch.
Megan wore a sculptural Danielle Frankel gown, striking and timeless. After the ceremony, she changed into billowing pleated trousers, embodying elegance and freedom as the evening transitioned from sacred to celebratory.

Aperitif in the Baglio
The guests gathered in the Baglio courtyard, perched above the sea, for an atmospheric aperitif. The setting was rustic yet refined—sunlight, spritzes, and Sicilian small plates against the backdrop of cliffs and water. It was a pause to breathe, to absorb the moment, before the celebration moved into full bloom.

Dinner: Parisian Elegance Meets Sicilian Soul
Dinner was set with refined precision—a nod to Parisian dining sensibility, reimagined in Sicily. The design was intentionally clean and minimal, each detail purposeful with warm table lamps glowing across long, elegant tables.
The table was adorned with love letters from the couple laying at each setting, personalised embroidered napkins added a tactile layer of sentiment. Red leather menus, bold and unexpected, punctuated the setting.
As guests were seated, tables were laced with olives and antique sterling silver pieces—shell-shaped parmesan servers, vintage salt and pepper cellars—elevating the experience with heritage and texture.
This was not just a meal; true to all our weddings, it was a deeply layered design experience.
The Party: Sax, Shots, and the Rave Cave
As dinner came to a close, a saxophonist stepped onto the balcony, surprising guests and shifting the mood in an instant. The space erupted in energy as the party began—limoncello shots flowed, and the epic band BEAT launched into their set, bringing the Baglio to life.
Desserts made a statement of their own: a one-meter-wide cheesecake and tiramisu served in shells delighted guests.
But the night didn’t end there.
The final chapter? The now-legendary Rave Cave—an underground stone room where the disco ball spun into the early hours, casting shards of light over dancing guests and the famous Scopello stacks who weren’t ready to let the night go.
Megan and Olly’s wedding was a journey—crafted with intention, rooted in place, and carried by emotion. From the elegance of the dinner table to the wild joy of the dance floor, every moment was alive.
To Megan and Olly: thank you for your trust. You let us into your vision and allowed us to create something truly unforgettable.
